Geta 下駄 is traditional Japanese footwear. They are a kind of sandal with a flat wooden elevated base with two “teeth”, keeping the foot raised above ground.
Ahimsa is a Sanskrit word which means avoidance of violence towards others. By wearing our Ahimsa Geta, the elevated “heels” create minimal contact to the ground which minimises the impact on the natural habitats of plants and insects.
